ENHO Recombinant Protein

Source : Escherichia Coli. ENHO Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain (a.a 34-76) containing 121 amino acids including extra 78 N-terminal amino acids. The total molecular mass is 13.05kDa (calculated) . Energy Homeostasis Associated (ENHO) participates in glucose homeostasis maintenance and lipid metabolism. ENHO is expressed in the liver and the brain. The role of ENHO in obesity or diabetes is studied.

ENHO filtered (0.4μm) and lyophilized from 0.5mg/mL in phosphate buffered saline.

Storage Conditions

Store lyophilized protein at -20°C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4°C for a limited period of time; it does not show any change after two weeks at 4°C.

Applications Notes

It is recommended to add 200μl deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. ENHO is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.
