DBR1 Recombinant Protein
Source : Escherichia Coli. DBR1 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 340 amino acids (228-544) and having a molecular mass of 38kDa (molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear higher) .DBR1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. DBR1 is an RNA lariat debranching enzyme which hydrolyzes 2'-5' prime branched phosphodiester bonds. The encoded protein specifically targets the bonds at the branch point of eliminated lariat intron RNA, transforming them to linear molecules which are then degraded. Additionally, DBR1 takes part in retroviral replication.
