CSN2 Recombinant Protein

CSN2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 236 amino acids (16-226 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 26.6kDa.CSN2 is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Beta-casein precursor (CSN2) is a member of the beta-casein family. CSN2 has an imperative role in determination of the surface properties of the casein micelles. CSN2 is specific to mammary glands and is secreted in milk.

Components

CSN2 protein solution (0.25mg/mL) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol, 0.5M NaCl, 0.25M imidazole, 1mM DTT and 0.1mM PMSF.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
