CREG1 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 213 amino acids (32-220) and having a molecular mass of 23.6 kDa.CREG1 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Cellular Repressor of E1A-Stimulated Genes 1 (CREG1) both activates and inhibits gene expression to stimulate cellular proliferation and hinder differentiation. CREG1 antagonizes transcriptional activation and cellular transformation by E1A. CREG1 shares partial sequence similarity with E1A and binds both the general transcription factor TBP and the tumor suppressor pRb in vitro. CREG1 contributes to the transcriptional control of cell growth and differentiation.
