CHAC2 Recombinant Protein
Source : Escherichia Coli. CHAC2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 207 amino acids (1-184) and having a molecular mass of 23.3 kDa. CHAC2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus. Cation transport regulator-like protein 2 (CHAC2) is a member of the chaC family. Catalyzes the cleavage glutathione into 5-oxoproline and a Cys-Gly dipeptide. Acts specifically on glutathione, but not on other gamma-glutamyl peptides.
