ANKRA2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Ankyrin Repeat Family A2, also known as ANKRA2 contains 5 ANK repeats. ANKRA2 assist endocytosis by linking megalin to components of the cytoskeleton or endocytic machinery.
