STK17B Recombinant Protein
Source : Escherichia Coli. STK17B Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 395 amino acids (1-372 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 44.7kDa.STK17B is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Serine/threonine kinase 17b (STK17B) is a member of the protein kinase superfamily. STK17B functions as a positive regulator of apoptosis. STK17B interacts with CHP1; this interaction stimulates CHP1 to translocate from the Golgi to the nucleus. STK17B is highly expressed in the placenta, lung, pancreas, however it has lower levels in the heart, brain, liver, skeletal muscle and kidney.
