COAA Recombinant Protein
Source : E.coli. COAA E.Coli Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 340 amino acids (1-316) and having a molecular mass of 38.9kDa.COAA is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. COAA is a member of the prokaryotic pantothenate kinase family and it is the first enzyme in the Coenzyme A biosynthetic pathway. COAA phosphorylates pantothenate (vitamin B5) to form 4'-phosphopantothenate. The key factor controlling the intracellular CoA concentration is the regulation of COAA activity by feedback inhibition.
