SULT1C4 Recombinant Protein

Source : Escherichia Coli. SULT1C4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 322 amino acids (1-302 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 37.6kDa. SULT1C4 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Sulfotransferase 1C4 (SULT1C4) is a member of the SULT subfamily. SULT1C4 is responsible for transferring a sulfo moiety from PAPS to phenol-containing compounds. Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugation of many hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobiotic compounds. Sulfotransferase enzymes are different in their tissue distributions and substrate specificities. SULT1C4 catalyzes the sulfonation of p-nitrophenol and N-hydroxy-2-acetylaminofluorene, except dopamine.

SULT1C4 protein solution (1mg/mL) containing 0.1M NaCl, 20% glycerol and 1mM DTT.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
