PSMA8 Recombinant Protein

PSMA8 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 270 amino acids (1-250) and having a molecular mass of 30kDa.PSMA8 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Proteasome subunit alpha type-8 (PSMA8) is a member of the peptidase T1A family. PSMA8 is a multicatalytic proteinase complex which is distinguished by its ability to cleave peptides with Arg, Phe, Tyr, Leu, and Glu adjacent to the leaving group at neutral or slightly basic pH. The proteasome has an ATP-dependent proteolytic activity. The PSMA8 subunit may be testis-specific.

Components

The PSMA8 solution (0.5mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 1mM DTT, 10% glycerol and 0.1M NaCl.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
