NDUFAF2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 189 amino acids (1-169 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 22kDa.NDUFAF2 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Mimitin (NDUFAF2) is a member of the complex I NDUFA12 subunit family.NADH dehydrogenase is an enzyme located in the inner mitochondrial membrane, which catalyzes the transfer of electrons from NADH to coenzyme Q (CoQ) . NDUFAF2 is the 'entry enzyme' of oxidative phosphorylation in the mitochondria. Mimitin protein functions as a molecular chaperone for mitochondrial complex I assembly.

Components

NDUFAF2 protein solution (0.5mg/mL) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 1mM DTT, 20% glycerol and 200mM NaCl.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks.Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
