LIPG HEK Recombinant Protein
Source : HEK 293. LIPG Human Recombinant produced in HEK cells is a single, glycosylated, polypeptide chain (Ser21-Pro500) containing a total of 490 amino acids, having a calculated molecular mass of 55.8kDa. LIPG is fused to a 2 aa N-terminal linker, a 2 aa C-terminal linker and a 6 aa His tag at C-Terminus. Lipase Endothelial (LIPG) has extensive phospholipase activity and may be involved in lipoprotein metabolism and vascular biology. The LIPG protein is considered a member of the TG lipase family through its sequence and characteristic lid region which provides substrate specificity for enzymes of the TG lipase family. In addition, the LIPG has triglyceride lipase activities. LIPG hydrolyzes HDLs more efficiently than other lipoproteins. LIPG also binds heparin.
