LCAT HEK Recombinant Protein
Source : Human Embryonic Kidney 293 cells LCAT Human Recombinant produced in HEK is a single, glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 429 amino acids (25-440) which includes a 13 amino acid Flag Tag fused at N-terminus and having a total molecular mass of 48.5 kDa. LCAT Human Recombinant is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. LCAT is an extracellular cholesterol esterifying enzyme, lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase. The esterification of cholesterol is required for cholesterol transport. LCAT is a essential enzyme in the extracellular metabolism of plasma lipoproteins.
