HSD17B1 Recombinant Protein

Source : Escherichia Coli. HSD17B1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 352 amino acids (1-328 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 37.5kDa.HSD17B1 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Estradiol 17-beta-dehydrogenase 1 (HSD17B1) is a member of the short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) family. The HSD17B1 protein advances the reduction of estrogens and androgens. In addition, the HSD17B1 has a 20-alpha-HSD activity. HSD17B1 preferentially uses NADH.

Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Components

HSD17B1 solution (1mg/mL) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl, 10% glycerol and 1mM DTT.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
