GPX7 Recombinant Protein

GPX7 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 193 amino acids (20-187) and having a molecular mass of 21.8kDa.GPX7 is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. GPX7 is a member of the glutathione peroxidase family. Glutathione peroxidases (GPx) are a family of enzymes with peroxidase activity whose central biological role is to guard the organism from oxidative damage by reducing lipid hydroperoxides to their corresponding alcohols and to reduce free hydrogen peroxide to water.

Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Components

The GPX7 solution (1mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 100mM NaCl, 1mM DTT and 20% glycerol.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
