EPHX1 Recombinant Protein
Source : Escherichia Coli. EPHX1 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 451 amino acids (21-455a.a) and having a molecular mass of 52.2kDa. EPHX1 is fused to a 16 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Epoxide Hydrolase 1 Microsomal (EPHX1) is a vital biotransformation enzyme which transfers epoxides from the degradation of aromatic compounds to trans-dihydrodiols that can be conjugated and excreted from the body. Epoxide hydrolase plays a role in both activation and detoxification of epoxides. Mutations in EPHX1 trigger preeclampsia, epoxide hydrolase deficiency or increased epoxide hydrolase activity.
