DECR2 Recombinant Protein
Source : Escherichia Coli. DECR2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 315 amino acids (1-292) and having a molecular mass of 33.2kDa.DECR2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Peroxisomal 2,4-dienoyl-CoA reductase (DECR2) is an supporting enzyme of beta-oxidation. DECR2 partakes in the degradation of unsaturated fatty enoyl-CoA esters having double bonds in both even- and odd-numbered positions in peroxisome. DECR2 catalyzes the NADP-dependent reduction of 2,4-dienoyl-CoA to yield trans-3-enoyl-CoA.
