INHBC Recombinant Protein

Source : E.coli. INHBC Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 139 amino acids (237-352) and having a molecular mass of 14.9kDa.INHBC is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. INHBC, the beta C chain of inhibin, belongs to the TGF-beta superfamily. INHBC formulates heterodimers with beta A and beta B subunits. Other members of the TGF-beta superfamily are Activins and Inhibins, hormones with contradictory roles which take part in pituitary, hypothalamic, and gonadal hormone secretion, as well as differentiation and growth of numerous cell types.

Components

The INHBC solution (0.5mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl, 1mM DTT and 10% glycerol.

Storage Conditions

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
