IL 6 Rhesus Macaque Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 186 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 21.1kDa.The IL 6 Rhesus Macaque is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Il-6 is a cytokine with a wide variety of biological functions: it plays an essential role in the final differentiation of b-cells into ig-secreting cells, it induces myeloma and plasmacytoma growth, it induces nerve cells differentiation, in hepatocytes it induces acute phase reactants.

Storage Conditions

Applications Notes

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IL-6 in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
