Polyclonal Antibody to NUP35
Nucleoporin 35kDa (NUP35), also known as NUP 53 or Mitotic phosphoprotein 44 (MP44) is a phosphoprotein and a member of the nucleoporin family. It plays a vital role in the Nuclear Envelope and Nuclear Pore Complex assembly. NUP35 contains two membrane binding regions, is localized to the nuclear rim, and is part of the nuclear pore complex. Nup35 binds specifically to its interacting partner Nup155 and this interaction is critical for proper NPC and NE assembly.
