Polyclonal Antibody to HOIP/RNF31
RNF31 (ring finger protein 31), also known as HOIP (HOIL-1-interacting protein) is an atypical E3 ubiquitin ligase that belongs to the RBR (RING-between-RING) family of E3 ligases and is the catalytic component of LUBAC (linear ubiquitin chain assembly complex), a multisubunit E3 ligase. Linear ubiquitin chains are assembled by the LUBAC (Linear Ubiquitin Chain Assembly Complex), which plays a critical role in the activation of the NF-kappaB pathway that is involved in various functions, including cell survival and inflammation. RNF31 is essential for the assembly and function of LUBAC and for various processes governing inflammation and immunity in both hematopoietic and nonhematopoietic cells.
