Polyclonal Antibody to AIMP1
Aminoacyl tRNA synthetase complex-interacting multifunctional protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the AIMP1 gene. AIMP1 is an inflammatory cytokine that is induced by apoptosis. AIMP1 is also involved in the control of angiogenesis, wound healing and it negetively regulates TGF-beta signalling. Diseases associated with AIMP1 include stromal keratitis and leukodystrophy. AIMP1 is expressed in adipose tissue, adrenal cortex, nasopharynx, etc. AIMP1 has two isoforms.
