Polyclonal Antibody to ST2
ST2V or ST2 is a member of the interleukin 1 receptor family. It acts as receptor for interleukin-33 (IL33) and its stimulation recruits MYD88, IRAK1, IRAK4 and TRAF6, followed by phosphorylation of MAPK3/ERK1. Diseases associated with ST2V are yellow fever and allergic conjunctivitis. It is highly expressed in kidney, lung, placenta, stomach, skeletal muscle, colon and small intestine and has four isoforms produced by alternate splicing.
