Monoclonal Antibody to p105/p50 (Clone: ABM20H5)
P50 (KBF1, p105, EBP-1, NF-kB1, NFKB-p50, NFkappaB, NF-kappaB, NFKB-p105, NF-kappa-B) family of transcription factors plays important roles in various biological processes including apoptosis, stress response, immunity, and inflammation. Activation of p50 regulates the expression of inflammatory genes crucially involved in the pathogenesis of inflammatory diseases. It governs the expression of adhesion molecules that play a pivotal role in leukocyte-endothelium interactions. p50 activation plays an essential role in the activation of mesangial cells and macrophages through the transcriptional induction of inflammatory mediators of glomerular inflammation and injury.
