Dynarrestin
Dynarrestin is an aminothiazole inhibitor of cytoplasmic dynein (cytoplasmic dynein) 1 and 2 and can be used to probe cytoplasmic dynein-dependent cellular processes. Dynarrestin rapidly and reversibly inhibits dynamin-1-driven microtubule sliding in vitro and disrupts mitosis by inducing spindles. Dynarrestin does not affect ATP hydrolysis and interferes with ciliogenesis. Dynarrestin inhibits hedgehog (Hh) -dependent proliferation of neuronal precursors and tumor cells.
