Manganese peroxidase
Manganese peroxidase is a heme protein that oxidizes Mn2+ to Mn3+. Manganese peroxidase catalyzes plant lignin de-polymerization. Manganese peroxidase can be used for the biodegradation of hazardous environmental contaminants, and especially for dye wastewater decolorization[1][2].
