Bi metal strips, Set of 2

The kit consists of a set of 2 bi-metal strips measuring 100x8x0.5mm securely attached to wooden supports. The device can be held in a standard laboratory clamp and with a few leads, battery or power supply, buzzer, and some crocodile clips students can invent a fire alarm while revising simple circuit work. The apparatus can form the basis of many other design project such as thermostats or investigations into expansion.
