Auto Transformer

Provides a single phase continuously variable AC voltage to be obtained from AC mains, with output varying from 0V to a maximum of 15% above the supply voltage, thus giving a maximum of 275V from a nomil mains input of 240V. Comprises a toroidally wound transformer enclosed in a protective sheet metal casing, providing output through a pair of 4mm socket termils, selectable through a knob mounted at the top and can be read from the circular scale present along side knob. Contact between the toroidal winding and output termil through a carbon brush rotating around the coil. With indicator for ON/OFF state. Includes 3-core mains cable. Available in current ratings 15A
