Comprises small, low power consumption, electric motor mounted on a base, specially designed to run directly from the output of the solar cell and to illustrate the direct conversion of light energy to electrical energy and then to mechanical energy. The motor spindle can spin a small fan, about 50mm diameter, when powered by the solar cell. For use with the motor to demonstrate the production of electrical energy directly from light energy. The solar cell unit comprises a selenium photo-voltaic cell housed in a plastic case with a rectangular diffusing lens top of size 25x25mm. Both units provided with colour coded 4mm sockets for connections. Mounted Motor only
