Atom Activity Model

Useful for exploring and demonstration of atomic orbital structure to a group of students. This durable, and attractive transparent model of atom has been designed to permit its use on over-head projector. Comprises a clear, thick plastic round disc with small hemisphere at the center representing nucleus and circular orbits clearly marked on the disc to represent orbits. Colourful pieces clearly depict the location of subatomic particles in the atom and their arrangement. This activity reinforces concepts of atomic numbers, atomic mass, filling order of shells, electro-neutrality and ionic charge.
