Joule Meter, Mounted

A modified single phase, 2 wire watt-hour meter adapted for low voltage working and directly calibrated in Joules (J) . Mounted on a wooden bench stand with non-skid base, which also has 2 pairs of 4mm socket termils, clearly marked for supply and load. The aluminium disc rotates once every 100J consumed, total consumption indicated on rotating digits display with 1st, 2nd and 3rd readings from the left representing 100, 1000 and 10000J respectively to a total of 99,900J. The inter-digit spacing in the left most reading is further subdivided in 10 divisions to approximate the reading to 10J. Designed for use on 12V, 50Hz AC supply with a maximum current of 8.33A. Meter enclosed in transparent casing to facilitate the observation of actual movement of the meter.
