Rotary Motion Investigation

To investigate the forces of the circular motion, a simple but effective apparatus known as the rotary motion investigation is used. Whole assembly is housed inside a transparent acrylic tube and a nylon thread attached with a rubber ball and a spring. On whirling the rubber ball around in a horizontal circle the centripetal force is indicated by the extension of the spring. On earlier calibration of the spring the forces acting can be measured in “force increment or in Newton. This instrument verifies the Inter relation between force, mass, speed and radius.
