Pendulum Wooden

The pendulum provides an excellent model for investigating conservation of energy, period, and gravity. The string length can be adjusted as well as the mass of the pendulum. A large protractor allows angle measurements to be easily read, and the photogate system can be attached at the bottom of the swing arc to record the period. Students can investigate how the angle of release, mass, and string length affect the period of a pendulum. Includes a protractor backboard, string, pendulum, mounting screw, and activity guide.
