Molecular Motion Demonstration Tube

A smashing demonstration of kinetic theory of matter. Straight tube filled with small glass beads and mercury under highly evacuated condition. When heated on spirit lamp, the mercury boils quickly due to low pressure agitating violently imparting bombarding motion to glass beads simulating the Brownian motion with glass beads as gas molecules contained in an enclosed vessel, easily observable to ked eyes.
