The CAG promoter is used to drive high levels of gene expression in mammalian expression vectors.This AAV serotype 1 virus (Capsid from AAV1 and ITR from AAV2) expresses eGFP (enhanced Green Fluorescent Protein) under the control of CAG promoter.
