IL1R2 Protein (C-cleavage, Human)

1. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human IL1R2 (Cat: 10111-HCCH) at 2 μg/ml (100 μl/well) can bind Human IL-1 beta His (Cat: 10139-H07E), biotinylated, the EC50 of IL-1 beta His, biotinylated is 70-260 ng/mL. 2. Measured by its ability to inhibit Interferon gamma secretion by human natural killer lymphoma NK-92 cells in the presence of 500 pg/mL IL1b. The EC50 for this effect is typically 50-250 ng/mL.

The recombinant human IL1R2 consists of 336 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 38.4 KDa. It migrates as an approximately 49 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
