The recombinant Human IGF1R comprises 1152 amino acids and the calculated molecular masses for α subunit, β subunit and the single chain of the receptor are approximately 80.4 kDa, 49.44 kDa and 130.44 kDa, respectively. As a result of glycosylation, α subunit, β subunit, and the single chain of the receptor have apparent molecular masses of approximately 130.5 kDa, 88.2 kDa and 216.5 kDa, respectively in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
