The recombinant human IFN-γR1 consists of 239 amino acids after removal of the signal peptide and predicts a molecular mass of 27.3 kDa. By SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rhIFN-γR1 is approximately 40-35 kDa due to the glycosylation.
