The recombinant hemagglutinin of Influenza A virus (A/chicken/Italy/22A/1998 (H5N9) ) comprises 522 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 59.3 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 60.1 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
