The recombinant Varicella-zoster virus (VZV) / HHV-3 gE / glycoprotein E consists of 519 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 59.02 kDa. It migrates as an approximately 68.96 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
