KITLG Protein (C-His, Mouse)

1. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized mouse KITL at 2 μg/ml (100 μl/well) can bind mouse CD117 with a linear range of 1.28-32 ng/ml. 2. Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF-1 human erythroleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 5-30 ng/mL.

The secreted recombinant mouse KITL consists of 175 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 19.7 kDa. The recombinant protein migrates as an approximately 23 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
