The recombinant human CD2 consists of 196 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 22.7 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 36-40 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. The molecular weight of this protein is around 31.3 kDa verified by SEC-MALS (Routinely tested) .
