Bioactivity
1. Measured by its ability to convert the substrate nicotinamide guanine dinucleotide (NGD+) to cyclic GDPribose. The specific activity is > 2,500 pmoles/min/μg. 2. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human CD38 His (Cat:10818-H08H) at 2 μg/ml (100 μl/well) can bind Mouse Anti-CD38 Antibody (Cat:10818-MM03), the EC50 of Mouse Anti-CD38 Antibody is 30-120 ng/mL. 3.Captured 68048-H001 (Daratumumab) on anti-human IgG Fc via CM5 Chip can bind CD38 (Cat.No.10818-H08H) with an affinity constant of 5.429 nM as determined in a SPR assay (Biacore T200) (Routinely tested) . 4.Daratumumab captured on Protein A chip can bind Recombinant Human CD38 Protein, His Tag (Cat. No. 10818-H08H) with an affinity constant of 51.760 nM as determined in an SPR assay (Biacore T200) (Routinely tested) .
Function
Val43-Ile300
Molecular Weight
The secreted recombinant human CD38 comprises 269 amino acids with a predicted molecular mass of 31.3 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, rhCD38 migrates as an approximately 43-45 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
