The secreted recombinant hemagglutinin of Influenza A virus H5N1 (A/Indonesia/5/2005) comprises 526 amino acids with the predicted molecular mass of 60 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 65-70 kDa band in Non-reduced SDS-PAGE, and three bands (25, 45, 70 kDa) in reduced SDS-PAGE.
