CF®680 Alkyne

CF® dye alkyne reacts with azide to form 1,2,3-triazole by copper (I) catalyzed 1,3-dipolar Huisgen cycloaddition. It can also be used as a monomer to copolymerize with other monomers to form fluorescent polymers. CF® dyes are Biotium's line of next-generation fluorescent dyes with advantages in brightness, photostability, and conjugate specificity compared to other fluorescent dyes. Far-red/near-IR fluorescent CF®680 dye has excitation/emission at 681/698 nm.
