Sambucus Nigra Lectin (SNA, EBL), CF®680 Conjugate

Sambucus nigra lectin, isolated from elderberry bark, binds preferentially to sialic acid attached to terminal galactose in α-2,6 and to a lesser degree, α-2,3 linkage. It is available conjugated to biotin and CF® Dyes. Far-red/near-IR fluorescent CF®680 dye has Ex/Em at 681/698 nm.
