Sambucus Nigra Lectin (SNA, EBL), CF®640R Conjugate

Sambucus nigra lectin, isolated from elderberry bark, binds preferentially to sialic acid attached to terminal galactose in α-2,6 and to a lesser degree, α-2,3 linkage. It is available conjugated to biotin and CF® Dyes. Far-red fluorescent CF®640R dye has excitation/emission at 642/662 nm.
