Sambucus Nigra Lectin (SNA, EBL), CF®568 Conjugate

Sambucus nigra lectin, isolated from elderberry bark, binds preferentially to sialic acid attached to terminal galactose in α-2,6 and to a lesser degree, α-2,3 linkage. It is available conjugated to biotin and CF® Dyes. Red fluorescent CF®568 dye has excitation/emission at 562/583 nm.
