Storage Conditions
Anti-HLA-DP In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (B7/21) is stable for at least six (6) weeks when stored at 2-8°C. For long-term storage, aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at – 20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
Specificity
Anti-HLA-DP In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (B7/21) recognizes a (Mr 26-34 kDa) class II major histocompatibility complex (MHC) antigen. The antibody recognizes a monomorphic determinant present on cells expressing DP1, DP2, DP3, DP4 and DP5.
Formulation
No carrier proteins or preservatives added in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2 - 7.4.
Antigen Distribution
The HLA-DP antigen is present on approximately 10% of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes but not on resting peripheral T-lymphocytes. HLA-DP is present in low density on peripheral blood monocytes and mitogen-stimulated T-lymphoblasts. Anti-HLA-DP reacts with most B-cell lines.
Aggregation
Aggregation level ≤ 5%
Applications Notes
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
