Anti-Setdb2 Antibody

Setdb2 and the neighboring gene Phf11 were linked to familial atopy/ asthma and are in a "critical region" commonly deleted in CLL. Setdb2 is a candidate histone methyltransferase as a member of the Su (var) 3-9 family of SET domain-containing enzymes. Other predicted domains in Setdb2 include a methylcytosine binding domain and a large bifurcation domain interrupting the putative histone methyltransferase (SET) domain whose function is unknown. Anti-Setdb2 antibody is ideal for researchers interested in Cancer Research and Epigenetics Research.

This Protein A purified antibody is directed against mouse Setdb2. The product was purified from monospecific antiserum by Protein A affinity chromatography. Expect reactivity with Setdb2 from mouse and human sources. Reactivity against homologues from other sources is not known.

Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
